Canadian government recently announced a federal budget with a new tax credit for home owners, The Home Renovation Tax Credit (HRTC).  The HRTC will allow you to save up to $1,350.00 (15% on $9,000.00) on your home renovation project (including landscaping) performed after January 27, 2009 and before February 1, 2010.
